Coach remains optimistic after Katrina
The good news is that the A’s infield coach Ron Washington has a ton of great assurance.

Washington said he understood that the citizens’ right of return and their property damage for a period of six weeks, and it is worse.

In the meantime, Washington said that 16 members of his family have moved to Alabama, where they do not know a soul.
“They have nothing, but what is on their backs,” he said.
With the help of money from insurance, the family is likely to rent two apartments in Alabama, while they are waiting to go home.
“I’ll have to pay for a housing themselves, but I have great insurance,” said Washington. “I have flood insurance and personal insurance for everything that happens in the house.”
Among the most valuable possessions Washington is under water, a car.
